Does VairSense Share Information It Receives?

Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below.

  • Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy subsidiaries, or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course, the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that VariSense, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

  • Protection of VariSense and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; or protect the rights, property, or safety of VariSense, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

  • We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

  • It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Which Information Can I Access?

VariSense gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with VariSense for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.

Refund Policy

Since VariSense is offering non-tangible irrevocable monthly services we do not issue refunds once the service has been initiated for the month that was billed.  As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing monitoring services from us.

However, we realize that exceptional circumstance can take place with regard to the type of services we provide.  Therefore, we DO honor requests for the refund on the following reasons:

  • Non-delivery of sensor hardware.  Due to potential issues in shipping your sensor hardware to you, you might not receive the hardware that you ordered.  In this case we recommend contacting us for assistance and we will do our best to locate the hardware that was shipped to and potentially ship you replacement hardware and/or refund the amount you were billed for the monthly monitoring service for that hardware.  Claims for non-delivery must be submitted to our customer service department in writing.

  • Defective or damaged sensor hardware.  Although unlikely, it is possible that you may receive sensor hardware from us that is damaged or defective.  In such a case you should contact our customer support team for assistance with troubleshooting the damaged or defective hardware.  Our customer support team will replace the hardware and/or refund the amount you were billed for the monthly monitoring service for the specific hardware that was defective or damaged.  Claims for defective or damaged hardware must be made to our customer service department in writing.

Our customer service team is always happy to assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have.  We strive to deliver high quality products and unsurpassed service and we would like to know if you are ever dissatisfied.
